In the quest of getting our readers to be closer to Hinge, Find Me A Date decided to bring you a closer look to the app designed to be deleted. It is mandatory that we share the results of the bold and risky Hingie ad campaign that the app came up with. Did it gain visibility? Is it taken seriously? Well that’s what we will discover through our interviewee Michel who accepted to share with us his story with the app designed to be deleted: Hinge

Michel is a 28 years old straight man who has used Hinge last year, longing to find the woman of his life or as he likes to call her « the future mother of his future kids ». He states that he has never used any dating app before nor has the concept even interested him. He thought that dating should happen in real life and not behind screens as he adds with a soft giggle « Hey, I need to show my chivalrous skills I have learnt from romance movies ». But Michel was stunned as he saw the Hingie advertisement on Instagram and he thought that it was worth the shot!

Michel then downloaded the app after so much hesitation and started using it following the Hinge protocol. He even went with a premium offer which shows that he was really serious about the app. He met Julie, 25 years old marketer who was discovering the app as well after being very lonely during the COVID19 lockdown.

Michel and Julie matched after seeing that they share the same opinions on the most controversial subjects as mentioned on their dating profiles and began talking. Loyal to his values, Michel knew that he had to be chivalrous and take Julie out on a date.

« Everything well super well » Michel states with dreamy eyes, « the meeting was really perfect, it was as if we knew each other for a very long time. We agree on most things and share the same point of views.I thought right there and then that this girl will sweep me off of my feet. ». After two months of dating both Julie and Michel deleted the app, saying that it really served its’ designated purpose

Michel and Julie have been dating ever since and our love super hero is thinking about getting on one knee as soon as possible to ask her THE ultimate question. All that we can do is wish a massive good luck to Michel and hopefully Julie says YES!
