A location based application, which enables the users to match their profiles with others on the basis of profile pictures and bios, has become one of the hottest applications of the world with its icon makeover. Tinder’s vision is to create a platform for people, who are aged 18 or above, to meet new people of their interest and build relationships rather than just use the application for hook up purpose. For achieving this vision, they used various strategies ranging from video call feature to limited swipes per day for the new entrants.

BRAND LOGO
Tinder actually uses flame as its logo, thus representing Passion and Modern Romance.
Tinder’s new logo has very slight modifications such as there is a pink gradient effect in the color scheme and a slight change in the shape of the icon as it has become more round from the bottom. Also, they have decided to forego the watermark and let the icon stand alone and do all the branding for the brand.
The new flame is much more confident and has pointed flames, giving a much crispier look than before.

THE ULTIMATE USER EXPERIENCE
Tinder has a very simple yet attractive user interface and the mobile application is extremely user friendly. Talking about the:
The “Swipe Right” Concept - Earlier Tinder didn’t have this swipe right feature but the makers of the application wanted to simply the process and wanted the user to stay for a longer time on the application and , thus they invested the swipe right concept and this function really helped in increasing the user engagement but the saddest part is you can’t undo your decision unless you’ve a premium version.
Onboarding System - since Tinder didn’t want to lose the users during the registration process; they came up with a very quick and easy onboarding system which hardly required any effort.
It also provides a special feature where it asks the users if they need to avoid someone on Tinder from their contact list. If they type yes, then both the persons won't be able to find each other on Tinder anymore. Well, definitely a good feature if you want to avoid your family member or ex on the application

Even if someone forgets his/her login details, Tinder gives them an option to re-login using their mobile number, making it easy for the user to return to the application.
Navigational and Gesture based experience
With its Card stack Design, it wants its user to focus on a single thing at a point of time and make quick decisions.
Tinder aims at guiding its user with the process and therefore added navigational experiences so that the user can easily understand everything about the application. Also, in order to provide the best user experience, it has incorporated gesture based experience in the application where the user can simply tap through the pictures instead of swiping them.

As a result, only the valuable content can be shown on the screen which will definitely lead to more user interactions. .
Although, initially it only had the “Dragging feature” but later various other gestures were incorporated for a better user experience.
Tinder provides a very simple yet effective user experience, which has successfully appealed a large audience.
