What if personal branding could also apply for Fruitz?

Personal branding in marketing corresponds to the fact of building and promoting one's own image. If the competition is hard in the job market, I think it is as much when it comes to dating apps. Then, you need to build an image that may convince dating users to swipe right.
Why is it important? Users may miss out on you, and therefore maybe the great love, or at least a memorable night! Fruitz has thus made personal branding essential and I think even more than the other dating apps. And we are going to see how.

Very few information allowed on your profile
Many dating apps are asking you to complete your profile by specifying your size, your astrological sign, your passions, the languages you speak. Fruitz has made the choice to put very few information on your profile, which makes the task more difficult, as the few information you select need to be absolutely relevant and pretty convincing.
The number of characters allowed for your description is less compared to others dating apps, Fruitz proposes you to describe yourself in no more than 50 characters. Then, it forces users to brand themselves properly, to think about the way they build their profile in order to grab their attention.
Now, you may believe that it can be hard to promote yourself with these constraints. Fruitz had thought of an idea that I have found really cool to make the difference. Users can add 2 Gifs on their profiles so that it shows their mindset. In the end, it makes more sense than a description that users may probably not read until the end.

5 seconds to convince
Do you know about entrepreneurship events when you have 5 min to pitch your idea?
With Fruitz, it’s more or less the same, except that the idea, it’s you and you only have 5 seconds to do so.
Fruitz’s users are spending less than 5 seconds on your profile before deciding to swipe left or right! It means that you have less than 5 seconds to convince them that you are the right choice. That’s not much! By doing so, Fruitz forces its users to consider seriously personal branding when they create a profile.
Mass of profiles
With 5 million active users, Fruitz offers a mass of profiles. The numerous profiles are a good point as it allows everyone to find the right partner. However, it also means that users are submerged in a mass. Then, Fruitz makes it hard to clearly differentiate and convince others to swipe right. In addition to this, as Fruitz offers a lot of profiles, users tend to be very demanding, not ready to “make compromises”. If they hesitate just for a second, it is then more likely to go left.
Fruitz has made personal branding a key element for users to reach satisfaction in their experience. Just to go further, let me give you a few tips to make the most of your profile. Remember that image is everything on Fruitz, this is the first thing users will see, the first impression, then make sure that the quality of the pictures is good. Regarding the description, keep it short and catchy to grab the attention.
